Chocolate Drops featured in a Tri-Cities Promotional Video shown to the Federal Parliament in order to raise much needed funds for major projects in the three Local Government Areas.
Tri-Cities is a collaboration between the Cities of Wanneroo, Joondalup and Stirling. The Mayors of each city visit Canberra on a regular basis to lobby for funds to support major projects in each City.
The promotional video featured representative businesses of each City and Chocolate Drops was chosen as one of the businesses to represent City of Wanneroo. Over 50 bags of Australiana and City of Wanneroo themed chocolates were presented to members of Parliament as a show case of our product.
Chocolate Drops was one of the first businesses in Australia to be granted Chinese Accreditation along with Proprietor Sue Dash and Assistant Manager Shaye Fitzpatrick.
Accreditation recognises Chocolate Drops as a Chinese Visitor friendly business which is promoted domestically in China and allows the use of various logos recognised by Chinese Visitors.
The menu has also been translated into Mandarin.
Chocolate Drops has won a Silver Award in the “Specialised Tourism Services” category of the recent Western Australian Tourism Awards.
Thanks to Dave & Maggie Catley from MADCAT Photography for helping us put our award submission together.
We would also like to congratulate Mayor Tracey Roberts & the City of Wanneroo for being finalists in their first ever entry to the Western Australian Tourism Awards.
